As a world leading library, the National Library of Australia offers an innovative and collaborative workplace where exceptional team players and technical specialists can flourish. As part of the Library’s senior leadership team, you will work collaboratively with your team, across Collection Branch and the Library to serve the public and achieve our priorities.
The Library is seeking to fill an ongoing **Director, Strategy and Transformation** role in the Collection Branch.

The position requires excellent communication abilities and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work both under broad direction and independently to achieve strategic priorities.

To thrive in this role, you will:?
- Have extensive program and project management knowledge and experience.
- Highly developed problem solving and organisational skills.
- Strong communication (oral and written) and liaison skills, including the ability to communicate with influence and negotiate effectively with people at all levels.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships and to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
- Demonstrate resilience and personal accountability for the quality of advice and delivery of outcomes, including successfully challenging the status quo when required.
