Whistling Eagle Café is your friendly go-to spot for fantastic coffee and delicious meals, located within the Aveling training centre.

We are seeking a 2IC (Second in Charge) to join our friendly team. We are open from Monday to Friday from 6:30 am - 2:30 pm.

**What you will be doing**
- Act as supervisor for all café staff in the absence of the Café Team Leader
- Support the Café Team Leader with day-to-day café operations
- Manage stock levels, including ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
- Provide full coverage during periods of Team Leader leave
- Complete end-of-day till reconciliation and café close-up
- Consistently prepare and serve high-quality coffee
- Deliver friendly, efficient, and professional customer service
- Ensure timely delivery of food orders to classrooms with a positive attitude
- Assist in the preparation of catering for training courses, including morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen, café, and classroom catering areas
- Uphold Food Safety Standards at all times

**What we are looking for**
- Supervisory experience
- Barista experience
- A friendly and positive attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of dietary requirements
