Lead Educator/relief Rpic

Bulimba State School Outside School Hours Care is seeking passionate and enthusiastic, professional child care Lead Educators to join our dynamic team. Applicants please note that we require availability every afternoon, Monday to Friday, from as early as 1:30pm.

Our large service is licensed to care for 255 children and highly regarded as a "service of choice" in Brisbane. We have been rated as Exceeding all seven Quality Areas in the National Quality Standards.

Your role will include planning and delivery of fun and active programs for primary school aged children, and stepping into the Responsible Person In Charge (RPIC) role from time to time, when regular RPICs are unavailable.

The successful applicants must be committed to creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for children.

You will also hold the following skills:

- Ability to work as part of a large team and act as a role model to children;
- Experience and a true passion for working with school aged children (aged 4-12 years);
- A relevant qualification as per ACECQA guidelines;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- The ability to build strong relationships with the children, parents, teaching staff and the broader community;
- An outgoing personality with a ‘can do’ attitude.

**To be successful, you will need**:

- Be available to work a variety of morning and afternoon shifts Monday to Friday, afternoons are a must;
- Hold a current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificate or willingness to obtain;
- Hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or willingness to obtain before commencement.

**Hours of work are varied**:

- 6:15am - 9:00am Before School Care
- 1:30pm - 6:00pm - After School Care
- Various shifts between 6:15am-6:00pm during vacation care
