**About the role**:
We’re looking for a reliable individual to join our team in a full-time capacity, working a minimum of 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities:

- Conduct routine inspections of metal structures, surfaces, and components to detect and monitor corrosion levels.
- Perform surface assessments and testing using various tools and techniques, including ultrasonic gauges, visual assessments, and coating thickness measurements.
- Modify, and assist in the installation of replacement metal components as part of corrosion remediation plans.
- Support the implementation of corrosion mitigation techniques such as surface coating, material reinforcement, and protective barrier installation.
- Assist engineers and senior technicians with structural assessments and reporting.
- Collect and log accurate data related to corrosion patterns, rates, and material conditions.
- Maintain and calibrate testing tools and workshop equipment.
- Participate in equipment repairs, metal surface treatments, and structural reinforcements.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and environmental regulations during corrosion testing and metalwork activities.

- _salary range of $76,500 - $80,500 + superannuation_
- _Regular Stable Full time hours_

Pay: From $76,550.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
