**About The Centre**

Coniston Early Learning Centre, located in Wollongong operates Monday to Friday between 7am and 6pm and caters for up to 112 children aged 0 to 5 years, per day.

Our culture is inclusive, collaborative and encouraging. We have a diverse team of educators and promote open communication between leadership and team members.

**About The Role**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an educator with a completed diploma qualification to join the team in a **permanent full time** capacity.

This position will see you working 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday or 10 hours per day, 4 days per week.

This will suit someone with a passion for providing high quality education looking for somewhere you can make a real difference

**Your main responsibilities will be to**:

- To build and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families and fellow educators
- Have a sound knowledge of and demonstrate high-quality practice in line with the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Provide assistance to other Educators in the room
- Maintain a positive working relationship with team members
- Maintain effective communication with parents
- Actively contribute to the educational program, observations and documentation, using Kinderm8 and informal opportunities

- A recognised Diploma qualification in Children's Services
- Current First Aid and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificates
- Child Protection training and knowledge of current legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- A valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check
- The right to work in Australia
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
