**Our Client**:
Our client is a well-established national transport company who's Brisbane operations are based in Carole Park, specialising in general freight transportation and 3PL warehousing, and we are currently seeking a skilled HR Driver to join their team on a temp to perm basis. As an HR Driver, you will be responsible for driving and operating their fleet of vehicles to deliver goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining a high level of safety on the roads.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate heavy rigid vehicles (HR) to transport goods and materials
- Ensure safe loading and unloading of goods in a timely and efficient manner
- Strapping down general freight with ropes, straps or chains depending on the load
- Ensure compliance with all relevant road transport laws and regulations
- Complete all necessary paperwork and logging deliveries on IVMS accurately and on time
- Perform regular vehicle checks and maintenance, reporting any faults or issues to the supervisor
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner when dealing with customers and other road users
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient operations

**Requirements**:

- Must hold a valid HR license
- At least 2 years of experience as an HR Driver, preferably in a general freight or transport environment
- Excellent driving skills, with a strong focus on safety and compliance
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Experience with strapping down freight with rope/straps
- Good knowledge of road transport laws and regulations
- Flexible availability, including the ability to work occasional weekends and overtime as required
- Must have reliable transport to get to and from work
