Shipping and Receiving Specialist

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our team located primarily located at Williamtown RAAF Base.
The Shipping and Receiving Specialist will have in-depth knowledge and experience in all aspects of warehousing and distribution to support of the BDA's Supply Chain Management (SCM) team. This will involve receipt, dispatching and other related warehousing and distribution support activities. Successful applicants will have established knowledge of material and computer systems management related to the Defense and have a willingness to learn Boeing warehousing processes, freight booking and using additional inventory management systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Processing Inventory Management Systems to support program activities.
- Management and control of inventory accounts including Serviceable, Repairable, Quarantine and Disposal Accounts in accordance with Boeing policy and procedure
- Provide warehousing support in all aspects of receipt, storage, handling, packaging, shipping, and issuing of inventory at the project facility based at the RAAF Base.
- This role supports the program on a 4-day roster (38 hours) / 8-day fortnight (76 hours)

Experience/Qualifications
- Must have experience and current credentials in MILIS
- Forklift license is essential
- Highly advantageous to have knowledge/exposure of
- Computer Aided Maintenance Management Systems (CAMM2) and or Oracle.
- Aeronautical products receipting processes and/or awareness of aeronautical logistics.
- Certificates in manual handling and working from heights.

Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold a current Security Baseline Classification or higher.
