**Calling all Superstar Sunshine Coast Support Workers**

We are looking for wonderful Disability Support Workers in the Sunshine Coast area to join our awesome teams in Sippy Downs _**and**_ Pelican Waters.

Our first Client is fun-loving lady, living in Sippy Downs who loves getting out into the community and meeting new people. Attending the gym is also extremely important to her and unlike many of us who drag themselves to the gym, she’s always knocking at the door, keen to work those muscles.

For this Client we are after Support Workers that have the availability to cover a range of shifts across all days, from daytime shifts that range between the hours of 6am to 10pm to someone keen to assist with active overnight shifts from 10pm to 6am. These shifts would involve support with personal care tasks, light domestic duties, manual handling, and community access.

Our second Client is a bright mature man who lives in SIL accommodation in Pelican Waters. His interests include, pottering in his courtyard attending to his bonsai trees, cards, animals and getting to the beach. He really wants to get out and about more this year. This gentleman’s shifts are during the day and involve planning and participating in getting him out and about in the community.

We are looking for Disability Support Workers who are enthusiastic, committed and can build rapport.

**The base hourly rate is $33.21/hr plus penalties for qualifying shifts (not negotiable).**

You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan and support from our awesome Support Specialist team.

- To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients' needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs
- Provide support to our Clients as required
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals
- **To be Successful you must **_
- Resonate with the role description above
- Hold CPR and first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold NDIS worker screening or yellow card (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
- Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (or willingness to obtain
- preferred)
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
- Manual handling experience required
