Nestled in a 150-year-old building, Antique Bar is set to become Elsternwick's go-to venue for unforgettable experiences. If you're brimming with energy and creativity, this is the opportunity to be part of something special.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Event Planning**: Unleash your creativity by assisting in the planning and coordination of a variety of events, from weddings and corporate functions to private parties and product launches.
- **Client Communication**: Foster effective communication with clients, understanding their event requirements, and ensuring their expectations are not just met but exceeded.
- **Vendor Management**: Collaborate seamlessly with vendors and suppliers, securing event-related services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring top-notch performance.
- **Research**:Dive into local trends and create activations to boost brand awareness and promotions, adding that extra flair to our events.
- **Logistics**: Be the mastermind behind event logistics, handling everything from setup and decoration to catering and additional requirements.
- **Post-Event Evaluation**: After the events, conduct insightful post-event evaluations, gathering feedback to continuously improve and elevate our future events.
- **Administration**: Navigate the day-to-day administration of events, from supply orders and vendor confirmations to travel planning, attendee participation, RSVP tracking, EDM campaigns and timely issue resolution.
**Requirements**:
- **Experience**: Previous experience in event coordination is preferred, coupled with a good knowledge of Melbourne and the Elsternwick area.
- **Attitude**: Bring a professional demeanor and a positive attitude to the team.
- **Organizational Skills**: Showcase excellent organizational and time management skills.
- **Communication**: Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- **Problem-Solving**: Demonstrate creative problem-solving abilities to ensure a high standard for guests experience.
- **Tech Savvy**:Experience with HeadBox, TalkBox, and NowBookIt would be a valuable addition.
- **Flexibility**: Be open to working evenings and weekends as needed for events.
- **Team Player**: Exhibit the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- **Network**: Having a network in F&B, and events space in Melbourne would be a great advantage.
