**The Position**

**St John of God Bendigo Hospital **is a private hospital located in central Victoria. St John of God Health Care acquired Mt Alvernia Mercy Hospital in February 2005, renaming it St John of God Bendigo Hospital. The private hospital services the City of Bendigo and Central Victoria.
- We are currently seeking a friendly and smiling customer service expert to ensure that the Atrium Gift & Coffee Shop runs smoothly while supporting our volunteers to provide an efficient and welcoming service.
- As
- **Gift & Coffee Shop Assistant** you will have both a Food Handling and Barista certificate with an excellent ability to provide an exceptional service to our clients and families.
- Previous shop experience and retail/cash handling experience will be viewed favourably._
- The role is offered on a Casual basis.
- A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
- Self-motivated and ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Highly developed interpersonal and effective leadership skills.
- Ability to recognise, support and value our volunteers.
- Commitment and ability to foster team work.
- Ability to work flexible hours including some weekends and evenings.
- A high standard of personal presentation and punctuality.
- Must possess Food Handling and Barista certificates.
