We are currently seeking a skilled and trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter to join our dynamic maintenance team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of plant machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical faults to minimize production downtime.
- Execute preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Work autonomously or as part of a team in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.

**Key Requirements**:

- Trade qualification as a Fitter (Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent).
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in food manufacturing or a similar environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including afternoons, nights, weekends and public holidays, if required.
