Regional Sales Manager Role within Crowies Paints is a demanding role supervising a team of Account Mangers and assisting them in growing their customer base, dealing with technical specifications, and issues arising from failures. This position requires the following skills and experience:

- Knowledge of Architectural, Decorative, Industrial, Protective, Marine and Automotive coatings preferred.
- Knowledge of key applicators, fabricators and refinishers processes, and requirements preferred.
- Previous sales experience with proven delivery.
- Good working knowledge/intermediate functional computer operating skills.
- Ability to prioritise and work effectively to manage several projects at once.
- High level of written and oral presentation skills
- To direct and facilitate the system installations of automotive customers within panel shops.
- To facilitate and conduct demonstrations of product within the automotive and industrial segments for target customers.

- Adhering to an agreed call cycle that allows a complementary balance between managing key base business and pursuing

new business targets.
- Regularly updating you on the status of new business targets so appropriate support can be provided to ensure the

successful conversion of target to transacting customer.
- Competently promoting, selling and educating our customers on new products and ranges that Crowies Paints implements.
- Achieving sales & GP budgets and where necessary, discussing any mitigation actions in the event of adversity to plan.
- To maintain a core group of key accounts and agreed strategic new business targets.
- To develop and promote Crowies Paints range and products with existing and new customers within the assigned designated

territory.

*To achieve sales budgets and sales targets in accordance with the Crowies Paints territory sales budget as provided.

*To provide feedback and report on competitor activities across all segments.

*To ensure Crowies Paints is always represented in an honourable and respectable manner at all times.

*Monitor and communicate local competitor activity to Crowies Paints senior management.

*Work in collaboration with Crowies Paints strategic supply partners to ensure alignment on new business targets.

The responsibilities of this role include:

- Develop and maximise business with existing accounts, direct and implement sales strategies, and establish new accounts to

achieve the budgeted sales level
- Ensure that the Crowies Selling Sequence workflow is the primary data repository for data/information kept on all accounts and

contacts associated with those accounts.
- Provide support & problem solving and complaint resolution to customers as required in order to build and maintain business

reputation.
- Actively pursue all sales leads in a timely Manner.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders such as Store Managers, Administration, General Manager Stores, General Manager Operations &
Development, Group Franchisee Members and the Managing Director to gain support and build relationships.
- Resolution of customer queries and communication on Crowies Store leads/opportunities within two working days.
- Inform customers of supply issues/trends and pricing
- Advise of competitor activity and industry trends.
- Promote products by demonstration and instruction, set up in store displays e.g. Trade Nights or DIY retail sales days.
- Ensuring that product familiarisation is achieved to win new business if the reluctance may be adversity to how to use the product.
- By assisting stores when Trade and or DIY events are held within the stores network.
- Maintain current knowledge on new products, competitive products and other general market information of interest or value to

customers.
- Continued attendance to Crowies training courses when applicable.
- Self-educating on new products or products/ranges where knowledge can be enhanced.
- Identification of key product areas for development within the Sales Growth plan review format.
- Monitor competitive activity and report significant developments to management.
- Compliance to all Crowies Paints policies and procedures at all
