Join a purpose led organisation which provides meaningful services to it's client base via education and allied health services. The organisation is currently around 175 staff with growth expected as demand for its services increase.
The organisation is currently serviced by a HR team of 2 (HR Manager + HR Coordinator) but the budget has been created to add a newly created HR advisor role. The role is designed to take away some duties from the HR Manager to allow her to operate at a high level, although she will absolutely be available for training and support. The coordinator role beneath is also important as it ensures this role will not be caught up in too much onerous administration in what is a process-driven environment.
The actual responsibilities will include
- ER - managing disciplinaries / grievances (low volume)
- IR - interpretation of awards and EA (support from external IR team)
- Talent Acquisition
- Learning & Development (create materials in topics such such as changes in legislation)
- Employee Engagement & other HR Projects
The client is open to different profiles that could be successful in the role. These include a HR Graduate with at least one years experience (could be a placement year) or an experienced generalist with or without tertiary qualifications. Either way it is important to have a strong attention to detail, an ability to work in a process environment and a commitment to the HR profession.
