About the Role

Reporting to the Director of EHS - Asia Pacific, you will work with all site leads to create a collaborative and cohesive team.- Assist with establishing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations.- Perform specialised tasks, and other duties to promote and ensure a safe, healthy, and environmental sound work environment.

**Responsibilities**:
- Execute comprehensive site strategies, EHS policies, procedures and programs to ensure a safe and environmentally sound workplace while ensuring EHS compliance requirements and minimising liability- Complete the implementation of the EHS management system, policies, procedures, standard operating procedures and programs in compliance with all applicable environmental, occupational health, and safety laws, regulations, and Alphapharm standards- Prepare EHS reports, assessments, studies, analyses, etc. which must always be provided or closed out within the nominated timeframe while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the relevant data. Submit such items as directed- Monitor compliance to legislative and Global requirements are adhered to by employees, ETWs, contractors and visitors- Conduct inspections and internal assessments of Alphapharm 's facilities and various programs to detect existing or potential EHS hazards and make recommendation(s) for corrective action or preventative measures

Duties- Monitor compliance with all EHS reporting requirements and report any shortcomings to the relevant manager- Manage injury management and any associated rehabilitation/return to work plans, as required. Liaise with workers compensation insurer and provide any necessary documentation- Coordinate or conduct EHS training and coaching as required- Confer with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies and consultants as required to maintain currency within the EHS arena- Other duties as directed- Communicate and endorse safety practices, monitor key safety performance indicators and visibly participate in promoting safety policies and initiatives

About You

You will have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental and/or Occupational Health and Safety.

You will also have 2 years' experience working in Industrial EHS environments (FMCG experience preferred).
