Childcare Educator

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable staff members to join our little "family" at Chifley in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. - ABOUT THE POSITION_ - **Full-Time (or Part-Time) Position**: - Your choice of room to be in**:Nursery Room 1-2yo, or Preschool 3-5yo.** - ABOUT THE CENTRE and WORK ENVIRONMENT_ We are a small friendly 36-place centre that has just completed a beautiful renovation. Our aim is to create an engaging play-based learning environment that is nurturing to the children we care for and teach. - Existing staff are long-standing and we have a lovely work environment. - **Flexible** working hours available - Great families and children to deal with - Ample off-the-floor programming time given - Each room is split into smaller focus groups to allow for stronger relationships to be built with educators and a calmer work environment - Easy to access by public transport and ample street parking for those that drive - ABOUT YOU THE APPLICANT_ - **MUST HAVE's**:_ - to be great with children and love working with kids - a good work ethic and enjoy working within a supportive team - a happy attitude to life - a valid Working With Children Check - **WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE**:_ - previous experience in the Early Childhood Education sector - experience in programming and writing observations/ daily journals **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Part-time hours: 20-38 per week **Salary**: $23.40 - $38.64 per hour Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 8 hour shift - Day shift Supplemental pay types: - Bonus - Christmas bonus - Penalty rates - Retention bonus Ability to commute/relocate: - Chifley, NSW 2036: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) Licence/Certification: - Working with Children Check (required) - Certificate III, Diploma or Bachelor In Early Childhood Edu (required) Work Authorisation: - Australia (required) Work Location: In person
