**About the team**:
Chef Fresh is the first Coles owned ready made meals facility.
Based at Banksmeadow, our site is highly automated, sophisticated and equipped to global best practice. We have a strong focus on team member safety, quality and continuous improvement whilst ensuring that customers' security of supply, quality, availability of product and value for money expectations are met.
**About the role**:
Take ownership of the implementation of all quality control processes at Chef Fresh. Supervise a team of quality officers in carrying out our mission to provide our customers with the best quality products possible.
You will also:
- Uphold compliance to the Process Control Procedures throughout the entire production line
- Be a key point of contact for the production team on all things food safety and quality
- Oversee the verification of all suppliers and make sure all standards are communicated
- Collaborate with team members and team leaders to drive results and continuous improvement
- Take ownership of all quality and inspection outcome reporting for the Coles Quality and Commercial teams
**About you and your skills**:
- Minimum of Diploma or equivalent in Food Science or related field
- Experience working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
- Experience leading and developing a team of direct reports
- Excellent priority, time management and communication skills to complete tasks on time and to a high standard
- A proactive approach, able to work quickly and identify challenges and risks
- Worked with or can learn quickly how to use a range of tools/equipment or systems for quality testing
