WHS Officer and Admin support

BFS is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified applicants with a minimum of a Certificate IV in WHS(OHS) interested in joining our Metro teams at Canningvale and Maddington.

This is a full time role and if you have some previous experience working as a Safety Officer particularly in Transport and Logistics this could be your opportunity to grow your career

Do you have the skills and experience required to successfully carry out these tasks
- Respond to all safety related incidents for BFS staff and subcontractors
- Review all relevant Plan, Policy and procedure under WHS to ensure correct systems are in place for the safety of employees and sub-contractors
- Conduct site audits
- Conduct routine safety inspections, monitoring and analysis of work areas.
- Conduct and participate in Risk assessments
- Prepare hazard analysis report for all hazard reported
- Create and review Job safety analysis and Safe procedures
- Prepare and maintain BFS WHS system ready for all audits.
- Report any safety issues or hazards in the workplace
- Document incident details in the register
- Complete incident investigations
- Participate in and lead WHS meetings and monitor documentation
- Conduct mandatory training programs and deliver education around compliance with relevant WHS/OHS legislation.
- Analyse safety problems and recommend solutions to appropriate manager.
- Assist subcontractors with adherence to our HSE requirements
- Basic -advanced computer skills including use of Excel

**Salary**: $37.00 - $39.00 per hour

- Certificate IV in WHS (OHS) (required)
