Key elements of the role of Driver with Pegasus Transport include:

- **Reliability - turn up before start of shift every time, fit, healthy and suitably relaxed ready to undertake the planned trip**:

- **Flexibility - Undertake the work allocated to you, for which you are experienced and licensed with no picking and choosing what you will and will not do**:

- **Professionalism - Manage your fitness and fatigue levels to ensure you can drive safely and carefully to the standards expected, maintain a high level of appearance and personal grooming to reflect positively of both yourself and Pegasus Transport and, ensure all paperwork completed and actioned is with Pegasus Transport Operations at the end of your trip**

Pegasus Transport has long term contracts and ongoing work with blue chip customers that include, but not limited to Australia Post, Toll, Schweppes, and Officeworks with trucks on the road nearly every hour of the day.

The Pegasus fleet consists of B Double sets, semi-trailers, heavy rigid, medium rigid trucks and vans.

This position will involve the transportation and delivery of stock between locations utilizing the vehicles and machinery available to Pegasus; you, as the driver, will be the driving force of these deliveries and will be assisted as much as possible to ensure this is handled efficiently and safely.

This job will have a 4 week rotating roster between AM, PM and Split with the last week being a 'general' week, in which you will be in the warehouse picking and packing or handling local deliveries. As well as being able to chat with the office staff (:

- Heavy Rigid licence at a minimum is required;_
- A forklift licence is highly preferred but not essential._
- This position operates under the Road Transport and Distribution Award 2020 for intra state work and the Road Transport (Long Distance Operations) Award 2020 for Interstate work._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.38 - $33.96 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week

- High School (Year 9-11) (required)
