Mathematics Tutor

Mathematics Tutors have an important role at Math Masters. They are required to bring a sense of positivity and enjoyment to learning mathematics.
- Tutors must have an innate ability to connect with students, building relationships that allow for students to feel comfortable to ask questions and to feel excited for their lesson every week.
- Tutors are required to have a love for mathematics and must have completed at least Mathematics Extension 1 (3 units) in the HSC in NSW. HSC results will be considered.
- Tutors must be able to break down every mathematics problem in multiple ways that is easy for students to understand and retain.
- All lessons are planned for tutors, in which they must be present 20-30 minutes before the start of their first lesson to debrief on what each lesson requires.
- Tutors must be committed to each student's progress and have a vision for how the next 3-4 lessons will look like in order to move closer towards their goals.
- Tutors must be fluent in English in order to provide each student with written reports at the end of every term.
- Tutors must bring a positive attitude towards our other tutors, students and parents in our tutoring centre.
- Math Masters is open from 3pm-9pm from Monday to Friday and 8am-4pm on Saturday. Tutors must be willing to come in for at least 3 days per week (or 8 hours per week).
- Tutors must provide a Working With Children Check (WWCC)

**Salary**: Up to $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
