**About BaptistCare Shalom Centre**

Redesigned and rebuilt for contemporary living, the Shalom Centre is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and a caring community. The courtyard café serves fresh, tasty meals and barista-fresh coffee, giving a cosmopolitan flair to the lifestyle here.

Shalom Centre offers quality care in a shared accommodation setting that is accessible to everyone. All rooms are fitted with en-suite bathrooms and feature large windows that bring in plenty of natural light and overlook tranquil gardens, also featuring a large chapel, on-site cafe and palatial entertaining area

**About the role**

As a Carer, you'll get to know your residents by supporting their choices, preferences and needs during your shifts. Varied shifts available, including a newly created shift that spans the middle part of the day. Gain your morning back for the important life admin tasks and still be home to have the evening meal with your family

**Duties may include**:

- Assistance with a wide range of Person-Centered care in accordance with care plans
- Assistance with medication
- Simple wound dressing
- Assistance with activities under supervision
- Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love

**Skills & experience**
- Previous experience as a Care Service Employee (desirable)
- Transferrable skills in providing care and compassion to others
- Certificate III in Individual Support is desirable or a willingness to obtain
