**My Gateway** have a fantastic opportunity for a Horticulture apprenticeship to join **Fairfield City Council.**
As part of this apprenticeship you will gain a nationally recognised qualification - **Certificate III in Parks & Garden**

**As part of the apprenticeship, some of** **your** responsibilities may include**:

- Maintaining landscapes and garden beds within local Parks and Gardens
- Working with and assisting tradesman using hand and power tools
- Mowing, whipper snipping, edging and weeding
- Pruning and spraying weeds with chemicals
- Management of pest species
- Cleaning of public parks and gardens
