Northrop Grumman Australia partners with the Royal Australian Air Force to provide through-life support for its fleet of C-27J Spartan Airlifter aircraft. The C-27J complements the Australian Defence Force’s existing Air Mobility fleet and provides airlift of people, equipment and supplies in Australia and our region.

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervision of staff, ensuring compliance and overall management while exploring efficiencies and improvements within the Northrop Grumman managed warehouse with a customer-focused approach.

**Key duties & responsibilities**:

- Leadership and supervision of a small team of NGA Supply Clerk team members including:

- Staff work rostering
- Task allocation
- Continuous training and development of staff
- Effectively communicating changes to policy, best-practices and continuous improvement
- Overall supervision of warehouse and warehousing team functional execution
- Process and system document maintenance
- Ensuring compliance across Defence and/or NGA guidelines, regulations and policies and processes
- Living and breathing our culture of customer-focused service excellence

**Essential Qualifications & Experience**:

- Qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics or similar
- A track record of leading small teams
- Dangerous Goods Handling Certification
- Demonstrated experience in supply chain and logistics management of aeronautical products and services
- Experience in planning and coordinating complex warehousing and distribution activities (Defence environment preferable)
- Working knowledge of warehouse and distribution regulatory environments
- Proven experience interfacing with Defence customers and/or contractors
- Must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance

**Desired Qualifications & Experience**:

- Certification and/or training in Warehousing/Logistics
- Forklift license
- Working knowledge of MILIS and CAMM2
- Understanding of Import/Export, Customs, Freight and Insurance compliance controls

**Note**:As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian Citizens. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable, as such your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
