About the School

About the Role
The successful applicant will work within our school community leading the areas of wellbeing, culture, belonging and PBL. Your role will include:

- Implementation of Positive Behaviour for Learning.
- Whole School Tier 1 - Explicit Teaching of Behaviour.
- Set high expectations for behaviour and learning across the whole school community and for all students and explicit teach expectations.
- Build capacity in staff to define, teach, reteach and model the expected behaviours.
- Build a culture of restorative practice.
- Oversee Tier 2 - Behaviour Programs.
- Lead the school-wide wellbeing program.
- Whole School Tier 1 - Wellbeing Programs.
- Collaborate with Year Level Heads of Department to implement the wellbeing component (The Resilience Project) in the Marsden Makos Mentoring Program.
- Oversee Tier 2 - Social-Emotional programs.
- Lead and facilitate opportunities for student voice in the school.
- Line manager our Youth Support Coordinator team.Build a culture of community within the school.
- Oversee initiatives to encourage cultural inclusivity.
- Organise professional development for staff to increase their cultural awareness.
- Ensure key cultural days are recognised in the school.
- Work collaboratively with leadership team regarding data informed decision making. Encourage students to be actively engaged in their schooling. Work with students to have positive attendance. Be able to make informed decisions quickly and effectively. Possess the knowledge of school policies and procedures. Work collaboratively with other support personnel within the school. Work collaboratively with our student and staff body to foster positive identity within the school.
