**Radio and Telecommunication Technician**

**About the role**: We are looking for a qualified Radio and Telecommunication Technician to join our team with a great focus on safety and high quality work at Qamar Electrical and Telecommunications Pty Ltd.

Due to recent growth and activity, this is a great opportunity for you to work with our highly experienced and well established team in this rapidly growing industry and acquire new experience with valuable skills while providing top level customer service and delivering a diverse range of services.

The below are some work activities but not limited to, are as-:

- Installation, programming and maintenance of radio communication equipment and satellite antenna system (Structured cabling proficiencies)
- Fault identification and repair of radio communication equipment and antenna system
- Fault identification and rectification at Multiplexing system (FDH / BJL / FJL)
- Work on FTTP technology (optic fibre cable installation and fault rectification)
- Current Australian Driver License
- Must have minimum 08 -12 months relevant proven work experience
- Must have sound understanding of Telecommunication network and operational design
- Proven understanding of multiple client network topologies and associated Radio access network (RAN), Fibre optical and Microwave Transmission infrastructure
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety compliance requirements
- Ability to understand technical construction and site installation drawings
- Physically fit and must not afraid of Working at heights
- Willing to travel across the state and interstate, if required (travel expense will be compensated as per industry standard)
- Have sound written and verbal communication skills
- High level of problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work both in a team and as an individual

**Certificates and Education Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma/Certificate IV level qualification in RF Electronics/Communications, Telecommunications or equivalent
- Construction industry card (White card)
- First Aid Level 2 certificate
- Traffic Management Certificate
- Must have an current Open cabler license (ACMA License)
- Enable accredited

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Docklands, VIC 3008 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Docklands, VIC 3008: Relocate before starting work (required)
