**About the role**
Within this role you will be ultimately responsible for delivering comprehensive procurement, category management and contracting expertise across our organisation.
Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, your day to day will consist of:
- Developing and implementing category strategies, in addition to reviewing strategic outcomes and providing recommendations for improvement;
- Managing end-to-end sourcing activities (including tender management), contracts and procurement processes;
- Drafting and implementing contracts, in conjunction with overseeing plans for implementation of new supply arrangements with internal and external stakeholders;
- The ability to think strategically and act collaboratively in the role with significant autonomy;
- Balancing and managing multiple initiatives ensuring that all are driven to completion;
- Ensuring financial targets in areas of responsibility are met and reported.
Indicative Total Remuneration: $85,000 (plus significant salary sacrificing benefits + superannuation).
**About you**
You are a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a flair for communicating with a diverse group of stakeholders. You are a clear expert in your field with the drive to continue to learn and develop in your career. Team work skills, with the capacity to deliver results and meet objectives, are essential.
You have experience in a similar role and possess:
- A qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business or related discipline or relevant experience;
- Demonstrated experience in a customer service role, including, negotiating and communicating;
- Minimum three years' procurement, category management and contracting experience in a large multi-faceted organisation;
- National Police Check or the ability to obtain.
