**Enviromental Advisor**
As a result of our continued growth and $1 billion work-in-hand, Georgiou is seeking an Environmental Advisor to join our project-based civil engineering team and work primarily on large civil infrastructure projects across NSW.
This role will be key in ensuring onsite implementation of the environmental management system requirements, promoting environmental awareness and driving high performance on the project. It will require you to provide technical support on significant environmental aspects, manage multiple environmental consultants, and liaise with the client and relevant stakeholders. Your duties involve:
- Developing, maintaining and ongoing supporting the Environment and/or Sustainability Management plan, processes and system elements
- Providing advice on environmental aspects such as contamination, erosion and sediment control, heritage, ecology, waste management, noise and vibration.
- Recording all relevant environmental data and compile reports for both internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring that the project complies with Georgiou HSEQ systems, policies, standards and procedures
**What you’re good at**:
Aside from having relevant qualifications in environmental science or related discipline and similar role experience, you should have demonstrated examples in developing and implementing environmental monitoring programs as well as Knowledge of ISO 14001, and Federal and State Environment Acts & Regulations
