Maintenance/handyman/woman

**The Role**

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, committed and customer service focused **Handyperson **to join our team.

As a **Handyperson** you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our property by undertaking maintenance activities and providing excellent customer service to our guests. We are seeking a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a knack for problem-solving.

Reporting to the General Manager, your duties will include;
- Coordinating and undertaking maintenance tasks, repairs
- Assisting with basic handyperson tasks as needed, including minor repairs and installations
- Collaborating with external contractors to ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities
- Assisting with various Adhoc duties where required, as directed by the General Manager

**About You**

The successful applicant will have demonstrated competence as a maintenance assistant, gardener, tradesperson or trade assistant or experience in a similar role, as well as:

- Be organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
- Effective communication skills
- Understanding of machinery use and tools required for the job
- The ability to take initiative and be pro-active
- The ability to work individually and in a team
- A current Australian driver’s licence

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $25.80 - $32.25 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Handyperson: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
