We are looking for passionate and experienced Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our team. As a not-for-profit provider, we offer the benefit of salary packaging to permanent staff. We also provide a home for people requiring all levels of care. The organisation is highly regarded in the community. We currently have vacancies for part time PCAs.

Our dedicated staff work with the same residents every day. This continuity allows for deep and trusting relationships to develop between residents, employees and families.

**The successful applicant/s will have**:

- Certificate III in Aged Care or higher
- Experience in residential aged care
- A positive attitude, compassion and empathy for elders
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with people of different backgrounds while maintaining role and professional boundaries
- Ability to understand and implement resident care plans.
- Able to write and speak English in a way that supports clear communication with colleagues and government investigative bodies
- Ability to identify problems and a clear understanding of when to alert immediate supervisors.
- Demonstrated time management and multitasking skills.
- Pro-active and dedicated approach to deliver best practice care.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all matters.
- Able to demonstrate flexibility to workplace demands and a teamwork attitude
- Knowledge of a second language such as Hungarian an advantage.
