**About the role**:
Are you experienced in hydro generation and ready to make a real impact? Join Origin’s Shoalhaven team as a Mechanical or Electrical Plant Technician and help keep our renewable energy assets running at peak performance. You’ll be part of a skilled, supportive crew maintaining one of Australia’s key hydro facilities — where safety, reliability, and innovation come first.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and fault-finding on hydro generation equipment
- Operate and maintain plant systems safely and efficiently
- Support and lead outages, overhauls, and commissioning activities
- Coordinate with contractors and contribute to project delivery
- Drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Isolations and safe access to plant responsibilities.

**What will you bring?**
- Advanced Trade qualifications in mechanical or electrical disciplines
- **Proven experience in hydro generation operations and maintenance**:

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
- Flexibility to support other sites and participate in standby duties
