**Who you will be working with**:
Established in 1981, J&D Contracting is a quality accredited Brisbane based company providing a complete range of building maintenance and disability services for government and private sector clients throughout Queensland.

**What you will be doing**:
Due to ongoing growth in our business, we are looking for an experienced Project Administrator to join our team at our Lawnton office. You’ll be working closely with the management team to support the completion of works for our clients undergoing significant modification work (mostly residential), overseeing the legal and financial aspects, ensuring that everything executed and administered in a timely manner.

Key Duties:

- Complete contracts to ensure they are compliant with all legal and other regulatory information
- Work closely with our supervisors and managers to ensure the smooth running of project work
- Project reporting including cost to complete and PMRs
- Prepare project documentation including safety manuals and handover packs
- Preparation of sale invoices including progress claims
- Following up Project Managers/Supervisors to ensure all certifications are received
- Keep customers updated and satisfied through having a good understanding of their needs and requirements for the project
- Proactively participate in meetings to ensure desirable outcomes are reached
- Identifying areas of potential improvement in order to further develop the integrity of the project and project staff
- Be actively participating in our OH&S obligations
- Review and draft construction contracts, including subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders
- Manage the contract close-out process, ensuring that all final payments and releases are received
- Ensure that all contract documents are properly executed, filed, and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures

**What are we looking for?**

Ideally you will have:

- At least 3 years experience with contract generation within the construction (residential) industry (desirable)
- Experience with QBCC contracts (or similar)
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and database management skills
- High level of attention to detail, keen eye for errors
- Ability to adapt and remain flexible, willingness to learn
