**Job description**

**Chrysalis Dental Care has a friendly team of 4 staff and we are situated on the beautiful Newport marina.**

**About the role**

We are seeking a motivated, flexible and friendly dental assistant to join our team. Above award wages with a very welcoming and supportive team.

We are offering **4 days per week Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and the occasional Saturday Mornings (3-4hrs).**
- Assisting dentists with a variety of dental procedures
- Preparing for and cleaning up after procedures, including the preparation of materials used in these treatments
- Assisting the dentist during these procedures e.g. passing instruments, operating suction apparatus
- Developing and mounting X-rays, and operating digital imaging equipment
- Acting as the first point of contact for patients at reception when required, taking payment, scheduling appointments, preparing them for procedures, explaining treatments and updating patient records.

- Ability to multi-task and work well as part of a team
- Experience with Exact dental software (not essential)

**At least 3 months chair side assisting experience.**

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
