**About the Role**
These positions are offered as a fixed-term contract for one year, commencing 1 January 2026, with opportunities available for both full-time and part-time roles.
**Key Focus Areas**
- Actively participate in planning, evaluating and developing programs for English, Humanities and Literacy that are in keeping with the Australian Curriculum and programs and syllabus guidelines at The Friends' School.
- Support the pastoral care and wellbeing of all students, demonstrating ethical and professional standards.
- Contribute to co-curricular programs, supervisory duties, and School events.
- Work positively and collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider community.
- Uphold School policies, expectations, and the Quaker ethos in all teaching and interactions.
- Participate in professional learning aligned with the School’s Improvement Plan and strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance with child safeguarding and mandatory reporting requirements.

**Essential Qualifications**
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in education and **teaching registration** in Tasmania (or eligibility to obtain).
- Current **Working with Vulnerable People Registration** (employment category) and a recent **National Police Check**.
