Electrical Tradesperson

The **Future Generation Joint Venture** brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane has been selected to design and construct **Snowy 2.0**. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.

Future Generation Joint Venture on behalf of SC Hydro Pty Ltd is currently recruiting for **Electricians with HV & Instrumentation experience** on the Snowy 2.0 Project in the Snowy Monaro region. The project is working a 14:7 roster, 12 hour shifts which may include days/nights rotating.
- Managing the daily electrical running, operation and maintenance of underground machines, including Tunnel Boring Machines and Jumbos, associated electrical and surface electrical equipment for all sites.
- Organising and planning work for future electrical operations. Managing planed and extraordinary maintenance for all electrical equipment on site,
- Reading and working on electrical drawings for underground machines, including Tunnel Boring Machines and Jumbos / site installations.
- Liaising with the rest of the Plant & Equipment Team for planning of ongoing and future works
- Provide support to production team, for trouble shooting and preventative maintenance
- Responsible for identifying any and all electrical safety and technical hazards and notifying the appropriate persons accordingly
- Ability to perform daily safety and maintenance checks
- Required to familiarize themselves with the approved emergency procedures, contingency plans, communication procedures and rescue plans

**You must currently hold the following tickets/licences**:

- Electrical Trade Certificate
- NSW or mutually recognised Electrical Licence
- High Voltage Switching ticket
- Drivers licence
- Working at Heights
- General Construction Induction training (white card)
- Right to work in Australia
- Be able to pass medical and a criminal history check

**The following qualifications are advantageous**:

- Instrumentation Certificates
- High risk work licence - Forklift, EWP, DG
- Confined Space
