**About the Opportunity **_- _**Hardware**

We have an exciting opportunity to join the IHG team in Heatherton as a **Category Management Analyst**. Your primary responsibility will be supporting, assisting and also leading various merchandising projects to enhance product assortment, improve operational efficiency, drive identified synergy opportunities and drive sales growth. You will also coordinate and lead cross functional initiatives, analyse data and ensure project deliverables are executed on time.

**In this Role**
- Develop and maintain project plans and status reports
- Collect, analyse and interpret data to merchandise projects
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate project progress and outcomes
- Provide insights (tell the story) and recommendations based on the analytics and influence the project to success
- Work closely with various internal departments and external stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for process improvement

**You’re Likely a Match If**
- Proficient in Office suite especially in Excel
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Experience in managing inventory and stock control would be recommended but not essential
