We are a small but busy plastic injection moulding factory in the Milperra area, NSW.

The offered position is permanent, full time, with accrued sick pay and holiday pay.

We do a 38 hours a week, 7am start, 15 minutes morning tea, half an hour for lunch, finish 3:30pm Monday to Thursday. On Fridays we have a short day, 7am start, 15 minutes morning tea, no lunch break and finish at 1pm

The successful applicant will need to be reliable as a priority. We do a 38 hour week and you will be expected to be here for 38 hours per week.

The successful applicant will start on a basic award wage with a trial period, but can expect the pay to rise once they are doing the job well and if a decent effort is being made. Pay will also rise when they take on more responsibility and/or upskill.

The successful applicant will need to be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. This is a necessity.

Some overtime may be required, no more than 2 hours on some afternoons or very occasionally 4 hours on a Saturday morning.

The applicant must be a self starter and be able to work unsupervised once they know the job. They must be able to follow instructions in English. Common sense is a plus. Must work well with others because we are a small, close knit crew.
A forklift drivers licence is not required but is looked on favourably.

The ability to lift and manipulate 25kg sacks of plastic is not required but looked on favourably.

Experience in plastic injection moulding is not required but again, looked on favourably.

Uniforms and a footwear allowance will be supplied once the trial period is over and you have confirmed you will be staying and you have demonstrated that you fit in to our crew. They will be resupplied if worn out or annually, and are a part of your wage package.

Pay: From $915.20 per week
