Installation Labourer

The Installation Labourer is responsible for providing vital support and assistance to our Installation team to manufacture and install and construct equipment and structures as specified. You will also be responsible for maintaining general warehouse operations relating to a variety of manufacturing tasks, monitoring tools, hardware and project related inventory.

As a part of the Installation team, you will be expected to bring with you some best practice construction and fabrication skills. The position is full time, 38hrs per week and with a head office based in Richlands, QLD, with much of your time spent on work sites all over SE Queensland.

**Qualifications & skills**
- Cert III in Carpentry & Joinery
- General Construction Induction ‘White’ Card
- Forklift License
- MR Truck License

**Desired Knowledge**
- Working within the construction industry for min 5 years
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and WHS guidelines
- Ability to read site drawings, plans and schematics and equipment installation documentation
- Experience in material management, stock control and stocktaking and organisation of construction tools and materials.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Assembling and constructing of Recreational equipment manufactured by Playscape Creations & Atlantis Liquid Dynamics (both onsite and in warehouse) and external equipment suppliers
- General excavation & construction work associated with typical landscaping construction sites.
- Delivering and unloading construction products at site
- Preparing and organising tools and materials required for assembly and installation of project equipment
- Site clean-up
- Conduct maintenance inspections as required
- Adherance to all building and safety regulations
- Complete retification work at sites
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Correct use and care of all tools and equipment
- Reporting to Construction Manager and Site Supervisors on work progress daily and with critical project details
- Reporting to office based administration staff relating to Inventory movements, project purchasing requirements and warehouse maintenance requests
- General warehouse duties as required

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
