**Description**:
The Intake Coordinator of Education and Care (EAC) leads the Children’s Services Administration Team in delivering exceptional service to all people and stakeholders engaged with CRCS Education and Care.

**The responsibilities of the position include**:

- Liaising with EAC Nominated Supervisors to coordinate all relevant support documentation required for enrolment in each service to ensure compliance with regulations and support services to achieve their placement targets
- Liaise with the Community Services Directorate and the Department of Education to ensure that CRCS is professionally represented, achieving required contractual outcomes
- To support the growth of EAC services in the Capital Region while maintaining high quality of existing services
- Provide detailed analysis of data relating to EAC including bio-demo data, consumer trends by collecting analysing and summarising enrolment and utilisation data to the Executive team
- Ensure all efforts to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes and growth in business by keeping up to date with sector information and changes to Child Care Subsidy (CCS) legislation.
- Ensure any changes to regulations, legislation and compliance related to the provision of EAC services including attendance, CCS or other entitlements are implemented and communicated as required to families, Directors and CSAT.
- Oversee the day to day operations of the Childrens Services Admin Team such as banking, accounts, enrolments, submission of data to CCS, placements and agency reporting
- Support Nominated Supervisors of centres to manage and implement changes to service operations at short notice including but not limited to where Covid-19 may impact the day to day running of a centre

**To be successful you will have**:

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of the education and care sector
- Excellent communication and demonstrated writing skills when communicating with key stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently and as a member of a team. S
- Strong team work ethos and ability to develop rapport with stakeholders.
- High level time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Detail-oriented approach with ability to solve problems independently and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to develop organisational plans and reports - Experience with research using data analytics software
- Experience working within budgets and in the preparation and revision of budgets
- Qualification(s) in office management, business administration or related field highly regarded

**Skills and Experiences**:
**CRCS also requires all employees to**:

- Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
- Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may effect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position
- Maintain full COVID-19 vaccination currency and provide evidence of their vaccinations to CRCS (sensitive information is kept private and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles) unless they are able to provide suitable evidence of a medical contraindication that prevents them from receiving this vaccine.
