Welcome to The Stitch Up We're a vibrant vintage clothing store located in the heart of Newtown, and we're on the hunt for a retail assistant to join our close-knit team.

We're not your typical vintage store. We offer a curated selection of pre-loved and reworked clothing that has been thoughtfully chosen to appeal to a broad range of customers. Our store is a welcoming and inclusive space, and we pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service to everyone who walks through our doors.

As a retail assistant at The Stitch Up, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers. This includes helping them find the perfect outfit, offering styling advice, and answering any questions they may have about our products. You'll also be responsible for maintaining the store's visual merchandising standards, ensuring that our displays are always looking their best.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about vintage clothing and has a keen eye for detail. You should be friendly, approachable, and able to connect with customers from all walks of life. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have some prior retail experience. Ideally, you'll also have an understanding of visual merchandising and be able to use your creativity to help us create stunning displays.

**Salary**: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- NEWTOWN, NSW 2042: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service (preferred)
- Point of Sale (POS) software (preferred)
