**Why Volunteer?**

Working in Aged Care can be an extremely rewarding and valuable experience. While many residents might otherwise miss out on contact with people within the local community, volunteers provide this important link and offer both companionship and casual, friendly communication. Volunteers get to share first-hand personal stories and experiences from our residents' past while adding a new brightness to their present.

**Who Should Volunteer?**

Anyone. You don't need experience or any special skill, simply a willingness to join in activities, a respect for the elderly and an interest in having a chat.

**What Would I Be Doing?**

The most fundamental role of a volunteer is to provide companionship, so a priority is placed upon listening and talking to our residents. As well as this, there is a host of other activities you could be involved in such as arts, gardening, joining the residents for a bus outing, reading, games etc.

**How Do I Register?**

Simply make an enquiry by clicking the "Interested" button and we will be in touch with you so we can explore your suitability and advise on the completion of relevant documentation and the orientation process.

A Police Check and full Covid vaccinations are mandatory. Following the conclusion of the legislative requirements, you will be introduced to our Lifestyle team for induction.
