**About the role**

Liebherr-Adelaide are looking for a suitable experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our growing team. You will be working afternoon shift (2pm to 10.06pm) and report to the Team Leader, Remanufacturing. You will be responsible for the safe, efficient and compliant, inspection, repair and overhaul services to major components in the start-of-the-art Adelaide Remanufacturing facility.

**Duties**:

- Disassembly, measurement, and inspection of components
- Request required spare parts
- Operate workshop equipment including overhead cranes, Hydraulic Torque Tooling, Induction heaters and various MHE
- Rebuild, repair, and overhaul mechanical and hydraulic components from large scale mining equipment
- Participate in OEM training
- Maintain a very high standard of housekeeping at all times

**Skills & Experience**:

- Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical)
- High Risk Licence LF, DG, & EWP all highly desirable
- Large excavator / haul truck experience
- Liebherr mining equipment experience
- Highly competent in the use of measurement equipment to tight tolerances
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, technical specifications and manuals
