Barista All-rounder

Join our friendly team in a busy, well-organised café in Wahroonga - right by the station with a large free public car park nearby.

Afternoon-close shifts, 1-month probation at Level 2 rates with potential to progress to Level 3 after review. Must have recent Australian café barista experience.

**Position**: Part-time / Full-time
**Shift times**: Start at **11:00am** or **2:00pm** → work until close
- **Sun-Thu**: Close 8:00pm
- **Fri-Sat**: Close 8:30pm

**About the Role**

We’re looking for an experienced Barista All-rounder to join our evening team.
You’ll take over coffee service after the main barista finishes, handle the afternoon rush (coffee, cold drinks, frozen acai, takeaway & online orders), serve food from the kitchen, ensure correct sauces and accompaniments are added, close lids, bag items, and hand them to customers or delivery drivers, then assist with closing the café for the day.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Minimum 6 months recent **Australian café barista** experience - overseas café experience, home coffee making, one-off shifts, or barista course certificates alone are **not accepted**:

- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Reliable, organised, and a strong team player

**Pay & Conditions**
- **Award**: Restaurant Industry Award 2020 [MA000119], 2025 rates applied
- **Probation**: 1-month at **Level 2 rates** - $26.57/hr (Mon-Fri), $33.21/hr (Sat), $39.85/hr (Sun), $53.14/hr (Public Holiday) + 11.5% super
- **Post-Probation**: Progression to **Level 3 rates** ($27.42/hr weekdays and higher weekend/public holiday rates) based on performance review after the first month
