**About the role**:
Our wonderful Client is seeking awesome Disability Support Workers to join her fantastic team. There are a few positions available on this incredible team. If you enjoy supporting an individual to live their best life, then this would be a great opportunity for you

Our Client has a bubbly personality and enjoys having a good conversation with her Disability Support Workers. Our Client absolutely loves being able to visit and enjoy a range of different places in the community. She also enjoys some time reading a great book or completing a jigsaw puzzle. Our Client would like some assistance with cooking meals so an enjoyment of cooking would be beneficial.

Our Client has requested that her Disability Support Workers are fully vaccinated against COVID19.

The role will involve assisting with personal cares, meal preparation, domestic assistance and community access.

There will be a range of shifts available across a 24/7 roster. We are looking for Disability Support Workers who could assist with various daytime and sleepover shifts.

**The above award base hourly rate for weekdays between the hours of 6am to 8pm is $31.96/hr. The Saturday rate is $43.63/hr and Sunday is $55.79/hr (Pay rates are not negotiable).**

You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan and support from our awesome Support Specialist team.

- **Your key responsibilities & accountabilities **_
- To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs
- Provide support to our Clients as required
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals
- **To be Successful you must **_
- Resonate with the role description above
- Hold NDIS worker screening or yellow card (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
- Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (preferred)
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
- Hold a police check or be willing to obtain

**Salary**: $30.00 - $39.99 per hour

**Experience**:

- Disability Support Worker: 1 year (preferred)

- Australian Open Drivers License (preferred)
