Pump Technician

We are looking for a **Pump Technician** who is a self-starter, motivated, outgoing, and takes pride in their work. You have a strong team focus but can also work autonomously and use your initiative to get the job done. You are also able to demonstrate understanding and patience whilst on site and completing your paperwork, you are a fast learner and have good computer skills. **Hours: 8am-4pm Monday to Friday.**
You'll be joining a close-knit maintenance team based in the Southern Sydney Area, We are ambitious with our vision to grow the business and invest in our team who are willing to step up to evolve and become better versions of themselves, which in turn, enables them to deliver on our goals. You will be surrounded by a team that have an in-depth knowledge of reactive and preventative maintenance at our sites and will offer training and development to increase your overall knowledge.

- time position requires both workshop and onsite based servicing and repairs of pumps and rotating equipment over a variety of industries.
Key duties include:
- Pump repair and assessment
- Testing and troubleshooting
- Component restoration work
- Preparing report documentation

Your skills and experience would include:
- Qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter
- Knowledge and experience with pressure systems, submersible stormwater and sewage pumps, would be an advantage,
- Experience with electric motors would also be an advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to streamline internal communications
- Highly motivated with the ability to plan, schedule and manage time efficiently
- Physically fit and healthy
- Have the commitment to adhere to the companies Quality and WHSE policies and procedures
- National Police Certificate with clean record (completed on acceptance of role)
- Be open to work overtime as required
- Current Australian driver’s license is required
- Confined space trained would be an advantage
- Disconnect-reconnect license would be an advantage
