**About the role**
- Multiple casual opportunities available.

As an Active Rover, your responsibilities will include:

- Providing immediate coverage at a house in the event of late cancellations or unfilled shifts.
- Offering on-site support to staff or clients during adverse events.
- Carrying the After Hours phone and responding to calls from houses requiring assistance.
- Liaising with and receiving full support from the Executive On-Call team.

This role is ideal for individuals looking to expand their responsibilities and gain broader experience in a senior support capacity while maintaining flexibility during night hours.

**Key responsibilities include**
- Respond promptly to calls and provide necessary support at assigned locations.
- Ensure seamless communication with staff, clients, and the Executive On-Call team.
- Support houses during unforeseen events or emergencies.
- Use provided tools (vehicle, phone and laptop) to document and coordinate activities effectively.

**About you**
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members and various stakeholders.
- Compassionate, considerate, empathetic, and sensitive to the needs of the client.
- Ability to provide emotional support and capable of building trust and rapport with clients and support workers.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong level of resilience.

**To be successful you will have**
- Certificate IV in Children, Youth and Families preferred, although other relevant qualifications will be considered.
- All four top up units
- Full Victorian Drivers’ Licence.
- Employee Working with Children Check; (or willingness to obtain).
- NDIS Worker Screening check.
- Right to work in Australia.
- Current First Aid and CPR

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $46.69 per hour
