**About the Role**

Contract Resources is seeking a highly motivated Yard Hand/ TA to join our team based in Lytton, QLD. This position plays an important role in maintaining a high standard of service to our clients, with a strong focus on continuous improvement in HSEQ and overall service delivery.

As a Yard Hand/Store person, you’ll be responsible for managing inventory, maintaining and organising the yard, preparing equipment for jobs, and providing general operational support to the team. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be key to ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.

**Role Accountabilities**:

- Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace health and safety, adhering to all HSE policies and procedures.
- Identify and report potential hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across teams.
- Manage tasks efficiently within set deadlines and timeframes.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (if required), ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Prepare and stage materials for distribution to various job sites, in alignment with project schedules and requirements.
- Conduct regular stock counts and collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure availability of required materials.
- As a Yard Hand, ensure the safe and secure transportation of equipment to its designated location, maintaining care and attention to handling procedures.

**_Requirements & Experience Needed_**
- High Risk Work Licence - Forklift
- Manual Driver’s Licence
- Full Australian work rights
- Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work day shifts (including weekends and overtime when required)
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also being capable of working unsupervised
- Excellent communication skills
- Hands-on approach and willingness to get involved with equipment maintenance activities
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
