**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, as a Counter Salesperson, you will provide efficient and exceptional customer service to our large and varied customer base.
Permanent position Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm, no Saturdays.
**Your key responsibilities include**:
- Provision of customer service, including effectively actioning customer requests and enquiries.
- Counter sales, including the promotion of an extensive and diverse product set.
- Liaising with suppliers.
- Stock control, including re-stocking shelves and packing orders.
- General warehousing duties as required.
**What you’ll need to succeed**:
This is a fantastic opportunity to become a valued team member in a dynamic customer service environment and develop your career working with a reputable national organisation.
**To be successful in this role**:
- Must be an Australian / New Zealand resident or citizen. Sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately)
- You’re a driven and passionate professional with experience working in a sales or customer-facing role.
- You have previous experience in the Fastener, Industrial and Construction Supply Industries (desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, so your ability to build relationships and establish rapport is second to none.
- Client-focused and a real team player, you are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and providing the best solutions for your clients.
- You are excellent at managing your own time and a real “self-starter”; you don’t need someone looking over your shoulder to get things done.
