**Location**: Secusafe Melbourne branch located at Clayton South.

**About the role**

**Responsibilities**:

- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping according to specified procedures and customer requirements.
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect them for damages, and verify their accuracy with purchase orders and packing lists.
- Unload, sort, and place products in designated storage areas, ensuring proper organisation and efficient use of space.
- Perform regular inventory counts and update inventory records using computerised systems or manual logs.
- Monitor and report inventory levels, anticipating potential shortages or overstock situations.
- Operate pallet jacks, walkie-stackers and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring that safety regulations and guidelines are followed at all times.
- Assist with order processing, label printing, and other administrative tasks related to warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment and address any discrepancies or issues that arise.
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in warehouse operations or logistics is a plus.
- Full-time working rights in Australia
- Advantage to have forklift licence but not necessary
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software or warehouse management systems are advantageous.
- Ability to operate and manoeuvre material handling equipment, such as walkie-stackers and pallet jacks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing, inventory counts, and record-keeping.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, and withstand prolonged periods of standing, bending, and lifting.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors effectively.
