We are currently hiring Domestic Assistants across **Logan region.** It is a requirement for our community care roles all staff possess a reliable vehicle, valid Australian driver licence and be willing to travel throughout the region visiting clients in their own homes.

**About the role**
Our Domestic Assistant's provide assistance to our Home Care clients, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their health, happiness, independence, interests and choices.

Enjoy a fulfilling, flexible clinical care role working with our Home and Community team across **New Beith, Greenbank, Browns Plains, Jimboomba and surrounding areas.**

These include:

- Meal preparation, bed making, dusting and wiping, spot cleaning of customer homes including but not limited to cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, cleaning toilets, cleaning windows, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floor
- Ability to identify and promptly report changes in the client’s condition to your team leader.
- Communicate in a timely, appropriate and effective manner that is conducive to effective teamwork with colleagues
- Complete all documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Occasionally transporting clients for outings / appointments / shopping and respite.

**To be successful, you will have**:

- Experience**in Aged Care or similar field i.e. Cleaning/ Housekeeping
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
- Tuesday - Friday 9am
- 3pm shifts.
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Police Check (valid within the last 3 years or willing to obtain)
- Up to date influenza vaccination (or willingness to obtain).
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination
- Australian drivers licence
- Own reliable vehicle for work use
