Yard - Stores Coordinator

Menard Oceania has a vacancy available for a full time (40 hour a week) permanent Storeman reporting to the Plant & Yard Manager.

**About the Role**:
The successful applicants will be:

- Efficient with strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work well with systems and procedures.
- Work closely with Logistics Coordinator to facilitate smooth mobilisation and demobilisation of company projects, including loading/unloading trucks and transport
- Assist with organisation and storage of all company plant, equipment and resources 
- Interact with project teams for the supply and procurement of stock and materials
- Drive the establishment of a physical stores inventory  
- Implement a simple electronic system for receiving, booking out, allocating and receipting of plant and equipment, parts, PPE and other consumables, aka tracking the costs  
- Ensuring that an effective stock management system is maintained and continuously improved to increase the profitability of the yard, transparency of stock on hand, quality of stock on hand, decreases wastage
- Ensuring that all “financial” entries relating to stores, Plant and Equipment is accurately and timely capture in Oracle - People Soft software. Harmony 
- Assist with purchasing based on stock levels, obatining competive quotes
- Assist with development and implementation of physical stores and integration into new CMMS package
- Role requires high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close team
- Job role requires heavy lifting and high degree of organisational skills
- Successful applicant must have construction white card and drivers license.
- Forklift license and experience with CMMS package beneficial  
- Must be well versed in Excel, Microsoft, Stock systems implementation
- 2-5 years experience in similar stores and/or yardman related role a must

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
