**About the School**:
Northgate State School provides a quality education in a caring and supportive environment. With a strong focus on the basics of literacy and numeracy, combined with the most up to date and professional knowledge, our aim is to provide an engaging and relevant curriculum which prepares our students, not only for their years ahead of schooling but for their future.
With an enrolment of 340 students, our school is large enough to ensure that we have the resources and facilities to cater for the learning needs of our students, but we are small enough that we are able to provide a family atmosphere and care for the individual - a personalised approach.
We are committed to ensuring that our students are provided with a broad range of learning opportunities, which not only engage them but also challenge them to achieve their 'personal best'. We understand that through supporting the development of the whole child, this allows the children to develop the skills and understandings that will enable them to be successful and productive learners within not only our school, but also the wider community and beyond.

- deliver the vision of the department
- improve the educational outcomes of students in their schools
